i'm 15 and my mother says that nail polish is only for adults and she wants me to remove the nail polish that i putAm i young to wear nail polish?

lol! No, 15 is not too young, however if you haven't had much practise applying it then you should probably not paint your fingernails and just do your toes.





Nail polish on the fingernails can look a bit funny on younger girls and isn't really appropriate for school, so I would only recommend it if you're going to a classy party or a ball/prom. Your mother may be concerned it looks a bit tacky on you, therefore I would suggest a compromise and just ask if you can wear it on your toes. 'Naked' toes look pretty icky.
Nah your not too young.. nail polish isnt like cigarettes or alcohol.

Wait, what? I think you have a pretty authoritarian parent, and I wonder if there's a missing subtext, like you're a first-generation immigrant from a country with different gender mores. Really, in the US, girls above the age of twelve or so can put on modest polishes without arousing any attention.
you can never be to young for nail polish :) but if your mom dosnt think you should wear it, you should probably listen befor she gets mad. lol trust me, mad partents are n ot fun... just try and work out a nail polish arrangment with her. like say you will only wear it on weekends or something :)

i think it more depends on the colour. like if you put a bright red, it's a definite no. but i guess your mom rules so you should take it off
