there's no 100% way, but generally the fewer coats you use the less it will chip. cheaper brands tend to chip more too, but buying a more expensive brand won't necessarily guarantee you'll be chip-free. look for brands that say ';no chipping'; or something to that effect. make sure your polish isn't too thick or it won't go on smooth and be prone to chipping when it dries. also, when you apply, at the end of each stroke try to very slightly curve underwards to paint under the very tip of your nail (so the polish ';hugs'; the tip of your nail - only really works if you have at least a bit of length to your nails though). good luckIs there any way you can keep nail polish from chipping? like little secrets? :)?
extra coat of clear coat. and running the brush horizontally across the tip of the nail while applying clear coat helps too.(it gets some clear coat underneath the nail and completely surrounds all free edges:)))))Is there any way you can keep nail polish from chipping? like little secrets? :)?
use a base coat then at least two coats then a top coat.
top coat:) my best friend:P
i do one coat of topcoat a day:)
