Lot's of practice. Also, Always apply it in up and down strokes. Not side to side. If you REALLY want it perfect, I'd suggest getting it done professionally. I love getting my nails done, lol.How to apply nail polish perfectly?

you do the middle first then the left then the right, after you wait how many minutes it takes to dry ( should be on the back ) and then add a second coat.
