You would have to consume quite a bit, and YES...it's possible. Probably has acetone as a tint vehicle.

Uh, probably not. Nail polish, a refined version of car paint (no lie) will probably pass through your system undigested.

Can't say the same for nail polish remover, as it's a pretty heavy-duty chemical (even the acetone-free kind.)





BTW, the condition where a person is compelled to eat non-food objects is called pica. It's a psychological condition, though it's sometimes related to a person having a nutrient deficiency. Occasionally, the non-food item that's eaten helps make up for the deficiency (like a pregnant woman who's low on calcium may have pica and want to eat chalk, which is calcium carbonate--a good source of calcium, like Tums) but it generally doesn't.





So I'd say don't eat any non-food items and if you feel compelled, get yourself some medical attention like, yesterday.





Edit: oh, yeah, I meant DRIED nail polish. Wet nail polish is toxic, I'm sure, as is any kind of paint like that. Sorry I didn't say that earlier.
well it would depend on if you are drinking a whole bottle (you would be very sick) or just chewing your nails with polish on them (not sick)
